Production Department
This department operates two advanced production units, ensuring a reliable supply of diverse products to meet both internal and external market demands. Our highly skilled local and international staff are equipped with the latest technology to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

i - Distillation Atmospheric Unit ADU
This unit has a capacity of up to 1,500 tons per day. In the ADU, desalted crude oil is heated and fed into a distillation column operating at near-atmospheric pressure, where it is separated into various lighter fractions such as gas, gasoline, naphtha, kerosene, and gas oil.
ii - Vacuum Distillation Unit VDU
This unit is feed with relatively heavy crude oil for quality and high specifications with a capacity of up to 1200 ton/day. It represents the "bottom-of-the-barrel" material. it is obtained at the bottom of vacuum distillation units with boiling points generally above 500° C, considered an end product in the vacuum distillation process
Quality Department
Karband Company ensures the quality of its products by implementing a comprehensive quality management system. The company conducts thorough inspections and detailed analyses to guarantee that its products meet the highest specifications and fulfill the requirements of both the Iraqi and global markets.
Safety Department
At Karband Company, our Safety Department is fundamental to our success. It is responsible for creating a culture where safety comes first. The team inspects our sites, identifies potential dangers, and makes sure every employee has the training they need. They are our expert first responders, ready 24/7 to manage incidents and protect our staff and the environment.
Operations Control Center
The Operations Control Center (OCC) at Karband Company is the command hub for all site activities. Our technicians use a state-of-the-art system to analyze real-time data from machinery, safety sensors, and our complete CCTV network. These high-definition security cameras give us full operational oversight, allowing for proactive management and immediate response to guarantee safety, security, and efficiency.
Emergency Services Department
The Emergency Services Department is Karband Company's expert response team and a key part of our commitment to safety. This department is staffed by skilled specialists trained for the unique risks of the asphalt and oil industry. They manage everything from fire prevention and emergency medical care to containing spills. More than just a response team, they lead our company-wide safety drills and training, making sure every employee is prepared.
